Carburetor or EFI?

**Updates coming** The performance EFI market has changed massively since we put this page up, and there are now many more and better options for converting a Magnum engine to EFI than existed at that time. Choosing between carburetor and EFI will depend on personal preference, skill, and existing parts. One major issue: the stock Dodge fuel injection (used in the vehicles with Magnum engines) is not a performance capable system. It is acceptable for a stock daily driver, but for performance applications, we do not recommend the stock EFI system. For all but the mildest modifications, we recommend either a carburetor or an aftermarket fuel injection system available from:

For Carburetors, we like the performance units from Quickfuel for racing and serious performance. For no-trouble cruising and economy without sacrificing power, we use the Street Avenger carburetors from Holley.
